Miguel Lasala, Young Talented Model of PMAP 
(Professional Models Association of the Philippines),
and been a finalist of Mr. Chinatown 2013 aired in ABS-CBN.

First saw him as I remember was during the Mega YDC Finale
as he walked  on the runway for young designer Emir Yamamoto
Maldita Challenge Design. and the next thing I knew he was actually
a finalist in the Mr. and Ms. Chinatown that I also blogged before.
Lately to find out that he is a brother of one of the great Fashion Designer
in the country, Jian Lasala.

1. Define your personal style
-- I like classy but trendy style. I go for comfort.

2. Favorite local brands
-- Bench, Oxygen, and Penshoppe


3. Favorite International Brands?
-- Zara, Cotton On, Uniqlo, American Eagle, Bershka


4. Style Icons
-- Brad Pitt and David Beckham


5. Favorite Wardrobe Pieces
-- Smart Casual clothes


6. Style Tips
-- Be simple but classy. Play with the right colors and wear clothes that have the perfect fit for you. 



7. When did u start modeling?
- I started modelling back in college. My first stint was for a local cebu magazine feature.


8. What is the first brand/ designer you walked in the runway?
- My first brand that i walked in the runway was for Bench. The first designer i walked for in the runway was for M. Baretto.


9. Last modeling you do?
- you mean the latest job stint? The latest was for Ayala Style Origin Fashion Show in Marquee Mall, Pampanga


10. Which do you prefer runway model or print ad model?
- as a professional model i can do both. Each has a unique and different exposure and discipline.


11. What do you think is your assets that make you one of the most indemand model today?
- It is always a requirement for a model to have the built, the height, and the looks. What edges me among others i believe is my discipline to keep the needed requirements, and to put my best effort to be better.




12. What makes u decide to join Mr. Chinatown?
- I wanted to be connected with my chinese roots and culture. And i also wanted to represent the Filipino-Chinese community of The Vis-Min region.


13. Who influenced or encouraged you to join the competition?
- I was actually invited by Mr. Keren Pascual to join the pageant. He is the current manager of Enchong Dee and Joseph Marco. My family has always been there to encourage me to do the things that i want, and for this opportunity, they are not an exception.


14. What was your best asset that time on the competition?
- My exposure in the modelling industry gave me an edge for the competition.


15. What is the hardest part/experience you had encountered during the competition?
-Learning the mandarin language. I didn't have any formal training when i was still studying. But to my surprise i was able to get a fairly high grade in the Chinese proficiency exam.


16. The Biggest Learning you had on the competition?
- The biggest learning is that having that winning attitude is not always about winning the title but getting the nod and support with people who believes in your talent and abilities. 


17. Who among your co-finalists become your closest friends?
- Among the finalists, my closests are Jerome, Francis, Jan Bee, Alvis, Glenn and Jaypee.


18. If you will be given the chance to be asked to answer a question in the Q&A, and the question is how you can promote Filipino-Chinese Friendship in the country wherein there is a rift between the two countries? What will be your answer?
- The rift is more political and territorial ownership. Is it more beautiful if we highlight more in exchanges of trade and industry, promotion of culture and the arts, sharing of innovations on research on science and health.





19. What is your greatest fear?
-- My greatest fear is that i wont be able to do things that i know i am capable and in power to do it.


20. Who makes you smile?
-- My family. I'm always a family guy.


21. Do you believe in Feng Shui?
-- No. I believe in God's grace, will and blessing that is more supreme.


22. First Chinese word you learned?
-- Ta tsia haw which means good day.


23. What is your biggest dream?
-- To be tagged as one of Philippine's elite top model.


24. Do you have plans to enter the showbiz?
-- If given the chance and opportunity to enter showbiz, then why not. I think that is a once in a lifetime and not everyone has that chance, so better grab it.
