RED BOX is a design development program of CITEM which aims to create the next generation of Philippine designers.
In every Manila FAME edition, Red Box introduces a fresh batch of Philippine designers, who are matched with local manufacturers to create innovative products that reflect their individual design sensibility.
Under the mentorship of Manila FAME Creative Director Budji Layug, the 24 Red Box designers chosen for this march edition worked closely with exporter companies from Home, Holiday and Gifts, and Fashion sectors; and with the Rising Stars of the One Town, One Product (OTOP) regional program.
Budji Layug directs and curates this season's Red Box creations in multiple scenography headlines: CELEBRATE; DECORATE; INSPIRE; AND DESIRE.
