Philippine Fashion Group


The Philippine Fashion Group is a not-for-profit trade organization that aims to promote, help and uplift the talented, young fashion designers, fashion accessory designers, runway models, fashion photographers and fashion stylists of the Philippines. It is formed to find platforms and venues where the Filipino fashion designers and fashion artists can showcase their works. The very mission of The Philippine Fashion Group is to strengthen and show the potential success of the fashion individuals globally.


ROLAND ALZATE

The Philippine Fashion Group's Roland Alzaté, Founder - womenswear and London based designer, was a protégé of revered creative figure Noel Crisostomo. Furthering his studies at University of Arts London•Central Saint Martins and currently working for a Luxury brand is the recipient of 2011's Fashion Design Council of the Philippines Grand Prize and 2012's British Council and Inquirer Fashion Competition Grand Prize. His accolades has made him the head designer/consultant of retail giant, BENCH. Roland is known for his deliciously flirtatious yet ultra-strong-modern creations, giving his design that certain je ne sais qoui. 

  
RENAN PACSON

The Philippine Fashion Group's Renan Jay Pacson - womenswear and menswear designer, known for his tough outwear and loose, androgynous silhouettes and liking for luxury street wear, is the recipient of 20th MEGA Young Designer Grand Prize in 2012. Renan is the young man behind "I Love Hue" Hosiery Collection of Manila Bay Hosiery Mills. He also did the "Heritage Line" for FILA Apparel. Renan gives back by being part of a livelihood program for the cobblers of Gapan, Nueva Ecija-One Town, One Shoe.












 JAGGY GLARINO

The Philippine Fashion Group's Jaggy Glarino - womenswear designer, a former US Registered Nurse then Associate Designer to Albert Andrada Luxewear. Jaggy always had a sculptural flare in his pieces. His ivory knitwear pieces made of saluyot-piña-cotton yarns won not only praises but also the LuLu Tan Gan Award for his innovative use of organic yarns partnered with his 3Dimensional approach to knitwear.













  
 MICHAEL LEYVA

The Philippine Fashion Group's Michael Leyva womenswear designer, a former flight attendant who never imagined a career in fashion now ironically dresses some of the country's leading ladies. An avid fashion enthusiast with innate love for aesthetics, his passion is to provide exceptional and wearable ensembles for women who are both classic and contemporary, prim yet sexy.













EMIR YAMAMOTO

The Philippine Fashion Group's Emir Yamamoto - fashion designer, aims to create pieces that defines people's individuality. With a thirst for knowledge and principles in fashion, he aspires to inspire and impart in every young budding designer the wonderful gifts fashion design brings. A recipient of the 2012 FIP Graduate Show Designer of the Year and 2013 MEGA Young Designers Competition Grand Prize.















TAL DE GUZMAN

The Philippine Fashion Group's Tal de Guzman - shoe designer, is the owner and designer of Risqué Designs, a customised artisan footwear brand. The National Champion and only Filipino delegate to the 2013 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards held in Washington, D.C















JOANA ALMAGRO

The Philippine Fashion Group's Joana Almagro - Manchester, United Kingdom womenswear designer, a product of Slim's Fashion and Art School and the Manchester's prestigious Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. With interests in travel and passion for designs, Joana's creations are the sole heart of savoir faire and excellence of her achievements.













  
RXANDY CAPINPIN

The Philippine Fashion Group's Rxandy Capinpin - photographer, his art focuses on Conceptual, Kitsch and Experimental Photography. A contributor on various magazines and newspapers, such as One Mega Group’s Mega, Meg and Lifestyle Asia; ABSCBN Publication’s Metro, Metro Weddings and Star Studio, Philippine Star’s YStyle and Supreme; Hinge Inquirer’s Northern Living, Southern Living and BGC, Manila Bulletin’s Style Weekend and Garage; and Status Magazine. Has done campaigns for different brands for SM Ladies Wear, Rustan’s The Ramp, Cinderella, BUM Clothing, Details, Big and Small Co. and Silverworks.
Aside from being a photographer Rxandy is a prolific instructor at Fashion Institute of the Philippines and Makeup Secrets School; and also doing Conceptual Photography and Art Directing talks for the UP Photographer’s Society, Multimedia Arts Festival, Ayala Malls Style Origins; Miriam College, and Etude House.





 JODILLY PENDRE

The Philippine Fashion Group's Jodilly Pendre - runway model, could well be our 2014's Asia's Next Top Model. The face of many leading fashion brands and a favourite model to many.
