Mega Young Designers Competition Finale

After How many weeks,
Mega Young Designers Competition is already done.
3 Young designers showcased their collection
At the Mega Smart Pinoy Pride Ball
Happened at Makati Shangrila Hotel.

The 3 Young Designers are:
Joy Chicano, Adrian Sahagun, and Emir Yamamoto

Joy Chicano showcased her vision of 20's mental hospital and
Put it on her collection. Honestly, I really like Joy's collection
Although there are some parts that i actually don't like. Like
The metallic silver dress that for me doesn't compliment with
The whole collection. But over-all I still like it.

Adrian Sahagun's  collection inspiration is the game that I think every Filipino
Loved to play before Candy Crush which is Tetris. Seriously, I don't want to
Praised his design because somehow there is still minimal error for me
on his designs but I really like it although it will look biased to everyone if I
put nice words on his Collection. Can't help it its really beautiful.
But seriously I will give him a big check for his craftsmanship
because his stitching is so clean.

Emir Yamamoto's collection is inspired from the famous character Sisa
From the book of Dr. Jose Rizal's Noli Me Tangere according to what
He had said last episode. But seriously speaking, I can't see his vision
Of Sisa on his collection. Although his collection is really appealing, my
Biggest concern was his craftsmanship. As you can see in the photos.
For me, It look so unfinished and not well tailored for some of the garments
Not everything. I don't know if that is really what he wants to show but that's it.
And he Won the Mega Young Designers Competition 2013.

Congratulations to the 3 young Designers.
Your journey to the Philippine Fashion World
Is just starting.
Hope to see your next collections on the
Philippine Fashion Week.

Love,
