Friday Film Review: Four Sisters And A Wedding

Been really bored today, that made me do
some movie watching. That  made me realize
also to do a Film Review.

And for my First Film Review post
i have chosen the Movie also
Showcased inline with the
20th Anniversary of Star Cinema
Four Sisters and A Wedding.

The story of the Four Sisters and A Wedding circulated to the Salazar Family that composed of the four sisters Teddie, Bobby, Alex, Gabby and their youngest brother CJ. The story of the Salazar siblings namely Teddie (Toni), the eldest, who works as a teacher in Spain; Bobbie (Bea), who is now successful in New York; Alex (Angel), the third child who is a Manila-based independent film assistant director; Gabbie (Shaina), a school teacher who lives at home together with their mother; and CJ(Enchong) the youngest child who put all his sisters in shock when he announced that he is going to marry his girlfriend of four months, Princess.

After a few years of not being together as a whole family, Teddie, Bobbie, Alex, and Gabbie come together for the wedding and agreed to dissuade their baby brother from marrying his fiancée. But as they interact with each other for the wedding, the Salazar siblings also face the feelings and issues they've tried to keep for the longest time.
Teddie who had been their mother's favorite strived really hard just to prove herself but she is just pretending to her mother that she is what her mother expected her to be. Bobbie who became a real successful in her career in New York actually had an issue with her mother because she didn't felt that she is actually a favorite of her parents and also she have an issue with her sister Alex because of a guy. Alex, the so called black sheep of the family haven't been as intelligent like her siblings and Bobbie's ex was actually her boyfriend that makes the relationship of Bobbie and Alex is not that good. Gabbie the youngest sister was like the right hand of her mother. She stayed living with their mother and been like the head of the family. The Four Sisters didn't want Princess for their younger brother CJ  so they really make a way to separate the two but they didn't succeed.
As the story goes on, the issues between the siblings had been revealed and faced. As what they say, Blood is thicker than water. Your Family will always be there for you whatever what. The movie actually made me laugh so hard and cry in some scene. Somehow I can relate with all of the four. But most especially to Teddie. I can relate to Teddie, because I, myself feel that some people expect too much from me but I lead them to disappointment. I had been a favorite by my mom like she is. I strive hard to  be seen and to prove that I can make better things but it really makes me as a shadow from my brother. As like what i had said before I really envied my siblings because they already achieved something that will take me a long time to be like them. But like how the movie ended, the siblings will really care and help each other and that what our siblings are doing. :)

A really must watch movie either with family or friends.
But I suggest watch it alone so that you can really make you express your emotions.
I believe most siblings can relate on the story and will really make you realized how important each of you together helping each other.

Great Job to the People Behind this Film.
Toni, Bea, Angel, Shaina, Enchong and the whole cast are really great!
They impressed me in different ways and how they portrayed their role are really magnificent!
The Combination of Drama, Comedy and of course Family in the movie will blew up your emotions to came out
"The story is really straight from the heart! I enjoyed it so much!"

Love,
