Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines

Seriously got curious about it when I first saw it
on Ms. G3 San Diego's Tweet
I think a month or weeks ago.

So what is this Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines about?

Well, It is a Beauty Pageant for both Young men and women that have
a blood of both Filipino and Chinese.

Whether we like it or not, most or some of us have a Chinese blood and that includes me.
We are called FilChi or Chinoy. Chinese influence and culture somehow matters on us Filipinos.
We Celebrate Chinese New Year with them. We enjoyed their delicacies like Hopia, Tikoy, Siopao etc.
Most of the Richest, Influencial, Powerful, and Famous Personalities in the country have a Chinese blood
that includes Henry Sy of SM, Lucio Tan of Fortune Tobacco,  The Uy Siblings and Chang Siblings Vince, Liz & Laureen Uy and Andre & Daryl Chang in the Fashion Industry an even our President, Pnoy have a Chinese blood.

Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines have young men and women with good looks and talent.
Both male and female candidates boast qualities of a modern Fil-Chinese.

16 male & female candidates came from different prestigious universities in the metro.

The male candidates include: Oliver Chen, Glenn Choa, Sydney Du, Gerald Magante, Miguel Lasala, Alvis Lim, Jaime Lim, Randy See, Bruce Sing, John Sy, Arthur Tan, Fredrick Tan, Jerome Tan, Sky Yang, Francis Yao, and JP Yap.

The official candidates for Miss Chinatown Philippines are: Jerene Tan, Robylyn Kimberly Tan, Michelle Marie Sy, Rolini Lim Pineda, Jamie Chua Reyes, Lhowelle Lyka Tan, Sheryl Elaine Chua, Samantha Jade Dy, Maricon Cho, Hannah Dy, Frances Elaine Cham, Kimberly Nicole Ang Mas, Aeryka Chua, Catrina Myka De Guzman Ang, Catherine Yao and Anna Patricia Baesa Tan.

Honestly speaking, I don't know anyone from them but I think I saw already some of them especially the guys in walked the runway in Fashion Shows that I had attended before. Like Miguel Lasala, I think I saw him on the Mega YDC Fashion Show.

What actually inspires me to blogged about this because I saw again the temple from my Alma Mater wherein I had studied since Kinder I up to Highschool along with my sister,
That temple is really precious and memorable place in my childhood.

Also, I had been an officer of a Filipino-Chinese Organization in my College years in Letran so I want to
support this pageant because like our organization, Our advocacy is to promote and preserve
 the Filipino-Chinese Traditions and Cultures.

Like every Beauty Pageants, We all have our Favorites or Bets.
I actually have my Top 3 for both Male and Female Candidates.

Who are they?
That will be a Secret! hahaha. Joke!
Seriously, Haven't chosen yet among the girls
because they are all equally pretty.
But for the Guys, It will be
Miguel Lasala, Sky Yang and Francis Yao.
I think they are male models.
that make me choose them and I think saw them before already.
